  • Peter G. GoodmanAttorney Peter Goodman has more than 30 years of experience finding practical and cost-effective legal solutions for his clients, with particular experience in employment and commercial law matters. He is a savvy negotiator and a strong advocate in court. Our clients benefit from his ability to cut through the complications of a case and achieve results. He has represented clients in a variety of industries and professions, including financial services, legal, accounting, technology, real estate, manufacturing and distribution. He has lectured and published written works on employment law. He has served as the chair of the New York City Bar Association’s Committee on State Courts of Superior Jurisdiction, and has been a member of the New York City Bar’s Labor and Employment Committee.
  • Jules Z. Halpern (Counsel): Jules Halpern provides sound Counsel and legal support for our clients regarding employee relations issues and compliance. Having practiced law in New York for decades, he is an invaluable resource to our team and our clients. Mr. Halpern served as senior director of employee relations and employment law Counsel at Random House, Inc. and he was the senior employment attorney at The Home Insurance Company and its affiliated companies. He is a leading local and national lecturer on employment law and related topics.
  • Paul L. Scrom, Jr. (Counsel): Paul L. Scrom regularly works with our commercial clients and their in-house human resources team or in-house Counsel on compliance and preventative measures that can avoid costly disputes, litigation and exposure for noncompliance with workplace requirements. He also prepares documentation for our clients, including agreements, policy statements, best-practices guides and employee handbooks. Like our other two lawyers, Paul is a frequent lecturer for businesses, focusing on legal and human resources topics that include harassment, discrimination, wage and hour compliance, the Americans with Disabilities Act, workplace investigations and the performance review process.
